The Georgia Technology Integration Standards, adopted by the State Board of Education in February 2002, were adapted from the National Educational Technology Standards for Students (NETS). Specific standards exist for each grade level covering the following strands:

The two links below are both PDF documents. It should be noted that although these are the current QCCs for technology integration, the National Educational Technology Standards for Students recently underwent revision in 2007. The QCCs are now out of alignment with the national standards.
To establish clearly defined examples of how students can meet the standards appropriate for resources available to Barrow County teachers. Suggested student artifacts will be outlined for each grade level and each standard will be addressed through the completion of at least one artifact. This is a collaborative project. Members of this committee may edit and add any content on the linked pages below.
